🚨 S-CORP & PARTNERSHIP OWNERS, SEPTEMBER 15TH IS ALMOST HERE.

If you filed an extension earlier this year, September 15th is your extended filing deadline.

And missing it can get expensive FAST.

The IRS late-filing penalty for 2025 S-Corp and partnership returns is:

💰 $255 PER owner, PER month that the return is late.

So let’s put that into perspective:

2 owners = $510 per month
4 owners = $1,020 per month
6 owners = $1,530 per month

And the penalty can continue for up to 12 months.

There may also be a separate $340 penalty for each Schedule K-1 that isn’t provided on time.

An extension gave you more time to file.

It did not make the filing requirement disappear.

If your accountant or tax professional is still waiting on bookkeeping, signatures, documents, or other information from you, get it handled.

September 15th means September 15th.

Call now to connect with business.

A lot of business owners think filing taxes and tax planning are the same thing.

They’re not.

Filing tells you what already happened.

Planning helps you make decisions before the year is over, while there may still be time to do something about it.

That can include reviewing your entity structure, projecting your tax liability, looking at deductions you may qualify for, and making smarter year-end moves based on your actual numbers.

The biggest shift is simple:

Stop treating taxes like a once-a-year event.

Your tax strategy should be part of how you run your business all year long.

Because making more money is great.

Keeping more of what you make matters too.

I can say what I do all day, but hearing it from the people I actually serve hits different💜💜💜

I don’t take it lightly when someone trusts me with their taxes, their business, and their peace of mind.

For me, it’s not just about getting the work done. It’s about making sure you understand what’s going on, feel taken care of, and don’t feel stressed every time tax season comes around.

I’m grateful for every client who has trusted me, referred me, supported me, and taken the time to leave a review.

When my clients feel confident, supported, and taken care of, I know I’ve done my job.👌

I know what it feels like to work hard, make money, and still feel uncertain about taxes.

Before I became a Tax Strategist, I didn’t fully understand how much of a difference proactive tax planning could make. Once I became educated, asked the right questions, and put a real strategy in place, everything changed.

That experience is one of the reasons I’m so passionate about helping business owners understand their numbers, prepare before tax season, and stop paying more in taxes than legally required.

Tax planning isn’t about waiting until it’s time to file, it's about making intentional moves throughout the year.

Follow me as I share how business owners can become more proactive, understand their taxes, and keep more of what they can earn.

Filing your taxes and planning your taxes are two different things.

Tax preparation looks backward. We gather the numbers, report what happened, and file the return.

Tax strategy looks forward.

It asks questions like:
How can we make better tax decisions before December 31?

Are you taking advantage of the strategies available to you?

Is your business structured in a tax-efficient way?

And most importantly, are you keeping more of what you earn?

If you're making good money but still feel like you're writing a BIG check every year, waiting until tax season to think about taxes may be part of the problem.

The goal isn't to avoid paying taxes. The goal is to plan ahead, use the tax code legally and strategically, and stop leaving opportunities on the table.

Especially if you're a business owner, investor, or high-income earner paying $40K+ in taxes, this is a conversation worth having.

You worked hard to earn the money.

Let's be intentional about what happens to it.

Too many people only think about taxes when it’s time to FILE.

But filing taxes and planning for taxes are two very different things.

Tax filing looks backward, it reports what already happened.

Tax planning looks forward,

It asks:

💰 What opportunities are available to me?
💰 How can I legally reduce my tax liability?
💰 What decisions should I make before the year is over?
💰 How can I keep more of what I earn and use it to build wealth?

And no, tax strategy isn’t only for the ultra-wealthy.

Business owners, entrepreneurs, investors, and even some W-2 earners may have planning opportunities depending on their individual circumstances.

The problem is that most people simply don’t know what questions to ask.

That’s why education matters.

Your tax return shouldn’t be the first time you start thinking about your taxes.

Since there are so many new followers on my page, I just wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself.

My name is Patrice Jones, and I founded Patrice Jones & Associates in 2020 as an online boutique providing a full range of tax and accounting services, including tax preparation, tax planning, bookkeeping, virtual CFO services, and business formation. My primary focus is on reducing my clients' tax liability through strategic tax planning that begins before they file their tax return.

With 10 years of industry experience, I advise my clients on past and current tax matters and offer tax law guidance to ensure their understanding of projected future returns. I devote ample time to each client, ensuring every concern is addressed during each consultation.

I believe that the right mindset is crucial for personal growth and progression in life. That's why it is important to surround oneself with successful individuals and maintain persistence in all our endeavors.

I was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. I earned an Applied Science Degree from Bryant & Stratton College in 2005. I am affiliated with the National Association of Tax Professionals. I hold a Fast Forward Academy Certificate of Completion from the IRS Annual Filing Season Program, am authorized to provide E-File services, and currently studying to become an Enrolled Agent, which is the highest certification one can receive from the IRS. I am a best-selling co-author of Beyond Numbers, which empowers business owners through tax planning. I am also a recipient of the presidential lifetime award.

I ran and operated my own Adult Family Home for years, so I know first hand the day to day struggles of finding appropriate staff, ensuring that your home remains compliant, your members are well taken care of, remembering to pay your staff on time, and trying to stay on top of your taxes. This is why my mission has been to help those in the healthcare field because alot of you are already overwhelmed, overworked, and just need someone to step in to relieve that much needed stress. Your tax bill keeps increasing every year and you don't have enough expenses to lower, or better yet elimate it.

There's another way, I have helped hundreds of people just like you escape the tax liability trap. How you ask, by proactivly planning, and not waiting until tax time to try and figure it all out. You do not have to continue to donate your hard-earned money to the IRS, I mean unless you want too.

There is a better way!

Follow me to see how...
