As Labor Day approaches, I'm reflecting on gratitude for meaningful work and the privilege of helping others navigate their financial journeys.

After 40 years as an investment advisor, I still love what I do. This work found me rather than the other way around, and I'm reminded daily of the joy in "the swing of it, the clamoring, hammering ring of it."

This weekend, I'm savoring summer's final moments: fishing, reading, tending to my garden, and gathering with friends. Come Tuesday, I'll be back to the work I love.
