⏰ FILED AN EXTENSION? DON’T MISS OCTOBER 15!
Since today is October 1, this is a timely reminder for clients who still haven’t filed their 2025 federal individual income tax return.
If you requested an automatic extension earlier this year, the deadline for most taxpayers to file is October 15, 2026.
⚠️ Remember: An extension to FILE was not an extension to PAY.
Any federal income tax owed was generally due April 15, 2026. If you still owe, filing sooner and paying as much as possible can help limit additional penalties and interest.
💡 H&J TIP: Don’t wait until October 15 to start looking for your documents. Get your W-2s, 1099s, business records, dependent information, and other tax documents together now.
📲 Still need to file your 2025 taxes? H&J Consulting can help you get caught up before the deadline.
