Most Wednesdays our investment team meets and decides to change nothing.

We go through the strategies position by position, look at what moved, and most weeks the conclusion is to stay the course. It makes for a dull story at dinner.

That is the design. A process that produces action every week is not a process, it is a reflex. The discipline is in looking every single time, including the weeks when nothing is happening, so the weeks that matter do not arrive unnoticed.

Twenty-five years of Wednesdays.

There are six questions we would want every client to ask us. Most people ask two.

If a client ever asks you how to evaluate the person managing their money, this is the list we would hand them. It was not built to make us look good. Several of these took real work to be able to answer well.

Ask them anywhere. If the answers are good, that is reassuring, and staying put is a fine outcome.

What would you add to this list?

09/04/2026

We would rather make your job easier than ask you for anything.

A large share of the people following this page are accountants, estate attorneys, and planners. You advise the same clients we do, usually earlier and usually on harder questions.

If you want to see how we handle the portfolio side of a situation you are working through, we will walk you through it. Concentrated stock, a business sale, an inheritance arriving mid-plan, a surviving spouse taking over accounts. Thirty minutes, no client involved.

If you want to see the reporting a client's accountant actually receives from us before you ever send someone our way, we will show you a sample.

And if you have a client you are unsure about and simply want a second opinion on the portfolio before deciding anything, we will give you one.

None of that requires a referral, then or later. We would rather be useful to the professionals in this market and let that speak for itself.

Send us a message and we will set something up.

The reason a CPA hesitates to refer a client is rarely the firm. It is the fear of what happens in that first meeting.

Everyone has sent someone somewhere once and heard about it afterward. So here is exactly what happens when a professional sends a client to us.

First, a short call with no documents. We find out what the person actually wants and whether we are a sensible fit. If we are not, we say so on that call.

Second, if it makes sense to continue, a review of what they currently hold. What it is, what it costs, where it overlaps. They keep that summary regardless of what they decide.

Third, a straight answer. Sometimes that answer is that their current arrangement is working and they should leave it alone. We have given that answer more than once.

The referring professional stays informed throughout, and nothing gets recommended that we would be uncomfortable explaining to you directly.

If you have ever been burned by a referral, what went wrong? It is worth knowing what to avoid.

A quick hello. If you're seeing this, you're probably a client, a friend, a neighbor, or someone who found us along the way. We're glad you're here.

For years we kept our heads down and focused on managing portfolios. We're starting to share more of how we think, in plain language, because a lot of good people are quietly unsure whether their money is being handled the way it should be.

No hard sells here. Just clear, useful thinking about investing, taxes, and avoiding expensive mistakes, from a team that builds and manages portfolios in-house and answers its own phone.

If someone you care about has ever said they don't really understand what their advisor is doing, feel free to point them our way. A clear look at what they own is always a good place to start, no obligation.

Thanks for being here.

We're not the right firm for everyone, and that's on purpose. Here's who we tend to fit best:

People who would rather hire a team to manage the portfolio than manage it themselves.

People who want to see exactly what they own, what it costs, and why, without chasing anyone for an answer.

And who we're usually not for:

Someone who wants to actively trade their own account.

Someone chasing whatever's hot this quarter.

Someone who wants to be sold a product rather than have a portfolio managed.

If the first list sounds like you, a good first step is simply seeing your current portfolio clearly. We're glad to walk you through what's inside yours, no obligation. A short message is all it takes to start.

After a lot of first conversations, we've noticed something.

People rarely leave an advisor over one bad year. The market is the market, and most people understand that.

What moves them is smaller and quieter. A call that didn't get returned. A statement they didn't understand and felt a little embarrassed to ask about. A slow sense that they'd become an account number instead of a person.

The bar isn't magic. It's being reachable, being clear, and treating a five hundred thousand dollar relationship with the same care as a five million dollar one.

That's most of the job. The rest is discipline and process. This part is just showing up.

If you've ever felt like you couldn't get a straight answer about your own money, that's worth fixing, wherever you end up. https://www.raymondjamesconnect.com/aWOw2s

This firm exists because of a decision two people made: to walk away from the corporate machine and build something that put clients first.

Fewer competing pressures. No home-office script telling us what to sell this quarter. Just room to recommend what we believe fits a client's situation, and the responsibility that comes with it.

That's harder than it sounds. It's the reason we build and manage portfolios ourselves rather than outsourcing the part that matters most.

Years later, that's still the whole idea: be a team that's accountable to the people we work for.

That's not a tagline. It's why we opened the doors.

Markets drop, and suddenly everyone has an opinion about what you should do.

Here's what I've learned in this business: the most expensive mistakes usually aren't bad investments. They're good people making decisions on a bad day. Selling in a panic. Going to cash after a frightening headline.

That's not a knowledge problem. It's a pressure problem, and pressure doesn't care how smart you are.

The fix is unglamorous. Decide how you'll handle it in advance, on a calm day, when nobody is afraid.
