Just Checking Things Out

Apparently the best view is from two feet. This curious little one stood up for a better look and held the pose just long enough for me to catch it.

This has been one of those years where the bears just keep making an appearance. It has brought more bear encounters than I can remember. Some quick, some unexpected, and some like this one . But always a good long cameras lens away .
