October has always been my birth month, but over the years, it has also become my month of rebirth. ♎️✨

On my birthday in 2014, a 15-year chapter of my career came to an early end.

At the time, it felt like life was ending.

Looking back, I can see it for what it really was: labor pains. 😂

Because from that ending, TS Solutions was born.

It’s one of the reasons I say .

Sometimes the person, situation, disappointment—or even betrayal—you thought was there to break you becomes the very thing that pushes you into what you were supposed to build.

And now, as I celebrate another birthday month, I’m approaching another milestone: 30 years in the taxation world.

For most of those years, my job was to look backward. Reporting

What happened last year?
What did you earn?
What did you spend?
What was deductible?
What do you owe?

Because tax preparation, by its very nature, reports what has already happened in a taxpayer’s life.

But this next era is different.

I don’t just want to tell taxpayers what happened. I want to help them influence what happens next.

I want to help individuals and business owners understand the tax impact of their financial decisions before they make them. To strategize. To plan. To make informed moves. To build stronger businesses, preserve more of what they earn, and create wealth intentionally.

Ultimately, I want to help taxpayers Build Your Own Economy.

And as I step into my next level, I want to help my clients intentionally build theirs.

So maybe it’s fitting that this new chapter is being born in October, too.

This October, I’m celebrating more than a birthday. I’m celebrating another rebirth.

Birthdays. Breakthroughs. Bigger impact.

More life.
More purpose.
More opportunities to serve.
More amazing clients.
More impact.
More everything.

After almost 30 years, one thing I know for sure:

I’m not done. I’m evolving.

Today, we pause to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the first responders, service members, and everyday people who demonstrated extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

Twenty-five years later, we remember not only the loss, but the strength, compassion, and unity that emerged in the days that followed.

May we continue to honor their memory by choosing kindness, extending grace, supporting one another, and never taking for granted the moments we have together.

🔥 This is the part nobody talks about.
The moment when the room goes silent…
when the weight in your hands feels like the weight of every dream you’ve ever carried…
when you decide to go beyond what you’ve already proven.

Last month I pulled a major deadlift.
A victory. A high. A moment where power roared through my body and whispered,
“You’re ready for more.”

So I went for the PR.
And in one split second—one shift, one pull, one breath—
my strength met its limit…
and the limit won.

Pain shot through me.
My body folded.
My pride cracked.
And suddenly I wasn’t the hero of the moment—
I was the student.

Pain.
Diagnosis.
Stabilizer.
Soaks.
Stillness.
Waiting on the recovery plan.
A forced surrender to a lesson I didn’t ask for… but clearly needed.

And that’s when it hit me:
In life and in business, you don’t lose — you learn.
Every setback is a spotlight on what needs healing, strengthening, rebuilding.
Every fall is an invitation to rise differently...to rise better.

We love the glory.
We love the win.
But the truth is:
The reset is where the real transformation lives.

So here’s my reminder to you—
and to the version of me still wrapped up, icing, and recalibrating:

Go for it.
Even if it scares you.
Even if you’re not sure.
Even if the attempt shakes you.

Because when you try, you learn.
When you learn, you grow.
And when you grow, you come back with a force that the old you could never carry.

The IRS has issued a serious warning to businesses and individual taxpayers about fraudulent tax advice circulating on social media — especially related to misusing credits like:
❌ The Fuel Tax Credit

❌ The Sick and Family Leave Credit
Many of these posts falsely claim that all taxpayers qualify, when in reality, these credits are only for specific groups (like self-employed individuals or businesses). Following this bad advice can:

The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) signed July 4, 2025, is phasing out or ending many clean energy & EV credits years earlier than planned.

Here’s what’s going away:
✅ EV Credits (new/used/commercial) – end for vehicles bought after 9/30/2025
✅ Home Energy Upgrades (25C) – ends after 12/31/2025
✅ Solar, Battery, Geothermal (25D) – ends after 12/31/2025
✅ EV Charging Credit (30C) – ends 6/30/2026
✅ New Home Energy-Efficient Credit (45L) – ends 6/30/2026
✅ Solar/Wind Project Credits (48E/45Y) – must begin by 7/4/2026

👉 What this means for you:

If you’re planning to buy an EV, install solar, or make energy upgrades — the window is closing fast.

Timing is everything: “placed in service” or “acquired by” dates determine eligibility.
