JUST ANOTHER DAY AT ALL DAT TAX 😂💗

Bre said everybody has been working hard, so lunch is on her today.
No clients. No tax drama. Just the team getting out of the office for a minute. 😂
But with this crew… you already know something is probably going to happen. 👀

SEASON 2 - PART 6 👀 MARCUS IS BACK… AND HE’S NOT PLAYING.

After being suspended Marcusis on the move to redeeming himself.
Marcus went straight back to work and finished helping Monique and her husband get the clarity they came for.
No dancing. No distractions. Just business. 😂
Looks like Marcus is serious about earning his seat back. 👀

🚨 HERE’S A 2026 TAX CHANGE A LOT OF PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT 🚨

“I take the standard deduction, so my charitable donations don't matter on my taxes… right?”

👀 Not necessarily anymore.

Beginning with tax year 2026, eligible taxpayers who DON'T itemize may be able to deduct qualifying CASH charitable contributions.

Up to:

💰 $1,000 for qualifying taxpayers

💰 $2,000 for married couples filing jointly

But WAIT…

Giving $500 directly to your cousin because she needs help does NOT turn it into a charitable donation. 😭😂

The contribution has to meet the rules, including being made to a qualifying organization.

💡 ALL DAT TAX TIP:
Start keeping your donation receipts NOW.

Don't wait until January and try to remember every donation you made all year.

👇🏾 Did you know this rule changed for 2026?

YES or NO?

🚨 NEW BUSINESS OWNERS, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU 🚨

“I just started making real money in September. Did I already miss my quarterly tax payment?”

Not necessarily. 👀

If the income that causes you to need estimated tax payments first comes in after August 31, your first required estimated payment may not be due until January 15, 2027.

THIS is why blindly copying somebody else’s quarterly payment schedule can get you in trouble.

Your income matters.

When you earned it matters.

How much tax is being withheld matters.

💡 ALL DAT TAX TIP:
Estimated taxes are not:

“I heard business owners send the IRS money every three months, so I sent $500.” 😭

You need to actually calculate what applies to YOU.

👇🏾 BUSINESS OWNERS:

Do you know how much you should be setting aside for taxes?

YES or NO? 👀

🚨 “NO TAX ON TIPS” DOES NOT MEAN “DON’T REPORT YOUR TIPS.” 🚨

Let me say that again for the people in the back. 😂

Qualified workers may be eligible for a deduction for certain tips.

That does NOT mean:

❌ Stop reporting your tips.

❌ Hide cash tips.

❌ Pretend the income never happened.

The deduction for qualified tips can be worth up to $25,000, but there are rules, limits and eligibility requirements.

💡 ALL DAT TAX TIP:
A tax DEDUCTION and income that doesn’t have to be REPORTED are two very different things.

Servers, bartenders, hairstylists, barbers, nail techs…

👀 Did somebody already tell you that you don't have to report tips anymore?

SEASON 2 — PART 3 👀

She came in demanding her husband’s refund amount AND a copy of his return…
But there was one problem:

He filed separately, and she wasn’t authorized to get it. 😳
Being married does not automatically give you access to your spouse’s separate tax information.
Now Bre pulled Marcus and Simone in to handle it. 👀
Who do you think is about to handle this better?

🚨 BUSINESS OWNERS… CHECK YOUR MILEAGE LOG! 🚨

Quick question:

What mileage rate are you using for 2026?

Because if you said ONE rate for the entire year…

👀 We need to talk.

For business mileage, the 2026 rate is:

January 1 – June 30:
➡️ 72.5¢ per mile

July 1 – December 31:
➡️ 76¢ per mile

YES. The rate changed in the MIDDLE of the year.

💡 ALL DAT TAX TIP:
Your mileage records need to be good enough to separate your first-half and second-half business miles.

This is exactly why we don’t wait until tax season to try to remember everywhere we drove. 😭

👇🏾 Business owners: are you actually tracking your mileage right now?

YES or NO?
