- Client bookkeeping
- Client payroll
- Office tasks such as filing, scanning, answering phones, greeting clients, and document assembly
- Other accounting & tax preparation duties depending on qualifications & experience

We offer flexible hours (more hours during tax season), a relaxed work environment, and the potential for on-the-job training.

Qualifications & Skills:
Prior accounting/bookkeeping experience
Some accounting education preferred
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Advanced written and oral communication skills
Professional manner and strong ethical code
Attention to detail and accuracy of work

A good reminder that the IRS will never initiate contact with you by phone, text, email, or social media. Always check that mail purporting to come from the IRS is legitimate by looking for a notice number (CP) or a letter number (LTR) at the top or bottom right-hand corner of the correspondence, and be sure to send it to your accountant to verify and ensure it is responded to appropriately.
