The March 18th passage of the "Hiring Incentives to Restore Employment Act" (HIRE Act) was overshadowed by the Health Care Reform signing on the 23rd and got very little press. The HIRE Act contains two new tax benefits that employers who hire and retain unemployed workers should know about.
