Q: What kind of financial reports do you provide? And why do they matter?

1. Income Statement: QBO (QuickBooks Online) calls this the Profit & Loss Statement, this measures your biz’s performance & profitability over a specific period of time.

2. Balance Sheet: Provides a snapshot of your biz’s financial position at a specific point in time.

3. Statement of Cash Flows: Tracks the actual movement of cash in and out of your biz over a specific period of time.

Q3 2026 (July - September): Due October 1, late after October 20, 2026

Remember, you must file a return even if no tax is due. If you're paying electronically, you must initiate payment by 5:00PM on the business day BEFORE the 20th.

Bookkeepers are helpful if you need ongoing, day-to-day help organizing receipts, tracking expenses, and regular financial reports.

CPAs/tax preparers are helpful if you need year-end tax preparation, complex tax strategies, corporate structural advice, or official financial audits.

Most businesses need BOTH because bookkeepers maintain clean daily/monthly records and CPAs use those records to file taxes and plan for long-term growth.
