A 401(k) checkup can be a simple way to stay confident about your longāterm retirement strategy. At Hurlburt Financial, we encourage the community we work with to pause and review the basics from time to time.
A few helpful questions to consider include:
⢠Is your contribution rate where you want it to be?
⢠Are you taking full advantage of your employer match?
⢠Does your investment mix still align with your comfort level?
⢠Have you updated your beneficiaries recently?
⢠Does your plan still support your longāterm goals?
These questions are a great starting point for understanding whether your current plan continues to make sense for your situation. If you would like to discuss your retirement savings questions, our team is here to help.

Late summer is a great time to pause and take a fresh look at your tax planning before the busy yearāend season arrives. This is when many of our clients review their income to date, consider charitable giving intentions, check in on retirement contributions, and confirm they are on track with their RMDs.
A midāyear review can make the final months of the year less hectic, and it helps ensure there are no surprises when tax season comes around. As always, be sure to consult your tax professional for specific tax advice.
If you have questions about planning, coordination, or how these pieces fit into your overall financial strategy, our team is here to help.
