If you filed an extension for your 2025 individual tax return, the extended filing deadline is October 15, 2026.

As a reminder, if you filed for an extension, it only gave you more time to file your return; it did not give you more time to pay any taxes.

Here are a few important reminders about the upcoming extended filing deadline:

🔹The sooner you file, the better. And, if you still owe taxes, interest and penalties may already be accruing.
🔹There are no further extensions. October 15th is the final deadline to file your 2025 extended return.
🔹Review your return carefully before filing. Missing documents, incorrect income information, or overlooked deductions can delay processing and may require an amended return later.

If you have questions about your return or need help preparing before the deadline, please contact our office. We’re here to help.

Twenty-five years ago, the world changed, and the courage, resilience, and unity that followed reminded us of what we are capable of in our darkest moments.

Today, we pause to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to pay tribute to the first responders, volunteers, and everyday individuals who showed extraordinary strength when it mattered most.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

A little late posting these, but too good not to share! 😊

Last month, our team spent the day at Farming 4 Hunger for some team building, connection, and time together outside of the office. We’re grateful to the Farming 4 Hunger team for hosting us and facilitating such a great experience.

And, of course, no visit to the farm would be complete without making a few new friends. 🐷❤️

If saving for a child’s, grandchild’s, or another family member’s education is one of your goals, a 529 plan may be worth a fresh look.

These plans are no longer viewed only as a college savings tool. Depending on the circumstances, they can help cover college costs, certain K–12 expenses, and even some apprenticeship or credentialing expenses, while still offering valuable tax advantages when the funds are used for qualified education purposes.

Swipe for a couple of frequently asked questions about 529 plans and what those considering them need to know.

If you have questions about whether a 529 plan makes sense for your family, please reach out to our team. We would be happy to help you think through your options.
