The last place you want to be is Googling "CPA for small business" next April...

Instead, here's what to do this fall to jump-start your tax accountant search:

→ Ask people you trust for 2-3 recommendations + start your interview list.

→ Set up intro calls to discuss your tax needs + expectations (don't forget to ask about communication, tax planning, etc.)

→ Start your handoff folder with at least 2-3 of your most recent tax returns, schedules, and any other records your new CPA will need.

If you're already sure you want a new CPA next tax season, now is the time to make your move! 📆
