I’m convinced there is a filing crisis in this country! I’m on a mission to make tax returns filing in this country great again ... our forefathers certainly never envisioned the Oct 15th crisis we now face.

Looking ahead to May 2nd, past the IRS/states’ May 1 deadlines….

Meanwhile, I heard a really good, sharp CPA in north Florida said ...
“I'm letting my tax software’s diagnostic messages catch my mistakes until I catch up.
- submitted this 19th day of April in the year of our Lord A.D. 2025”

Proposed closing remarks for my memo to a client...
"Please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any questions concerning the above or other accounting or tax matters or, if you wish, about the upcoming Masters tournament - 'cause I heard some in depth analysis on the sports talk show during my post office trip today. With all that Masters scoop, I feel well equipped to address any questions you may have about the tournament. Actually, I am going there week after next ... in my mind ... but dadgumm it, I got to get there one year in person; on the Bucket List!
I gotta get some tax returns done now, can't be digressing with you any longer about a golf tournament and such. We do, however, sincerely appreciate the opportunity to serve you. Thank you for your continued trust and confidence.
Please let me know of any others we may help.
Please also pray that I may be of (and/or return to) sound mind in these short days remaining until April 15 and beyond.
Happy Easter and best regards,

(DON’T miss the end of this message.)
Well, this morning I emailed a few clients advising that IRS “knucklleheads”* have not announced that the IRS’ EFW pmts system has NOT been tweeked to correctly process FL residents’ timely May 1 pmts (with hurricanes relief IRS granted last fall). I and others in my practitioners network feared as much!
*The point here, though, is I misspelled the word knucklehead! Horrors of all horrors?! I’m really, really good with numbers - but maybe spelling not so much; and, after all, where’s my autospeller when I needed her? (certainly female, since she usually, and often, corrects me) 😂

Tony Robbins would say I need to change my state.
In another month*, ok.
And don’t give me the paperless office talk bc you see a stack of files. That’s not the point. 😆
*IRS changed the normal April 15 date this year to May 1 for FL filers, with hurricanes relief.

I really can’t decide which shirt to buy. So many choices. I counted 4.
