Not 1 day in April. Not 2 weeks in March. Every single day of the year.
Most athletes and 7-figure owners find out what they owe after it’s too late to do anything about it. That’s not tax planning — that’s tax reporting.
We do the other thing. Multistate jock tax and duty-day allocation. NIL entity structuring. S-corp design and reasonable comp. Cost seg, STRs, Augusta Rule, accountable plans. Built before year-end, not after.
You focus on the game. We’ll handle the 41 states that want a piece of it. 🐺

An NFL tight end just medically retired at 28 after a neck injury on a routine kickoff block. He didn’t walk onto the field that day knowing it was his last play — almost nobody does. That’s the part of this business most athletes plan around badly: the career is a handful of years, but the life is another fifty, and every check has to work across both. Waiting until after the contract to get serious about money only works if you know when the contract ends. Entity structure, retirement funding, and year-round tax planning are things you do while the income is still arriving. Call the Wolf. Protect the Pack. www.whitewolfcpa.com

One athlete. Many states. Five concepts decide who taxes what. When you live, train, and compete across state lines, residency, domicile, statutory residency, place of work, and duty days all work at once — and an athlete domiciled in a no-tax state can still end up filing returns in a dozen states for one salary. The statutory residency trap catches the most people: 183+ days in a state plus a place to live there, and it can tax you as a full-year resident even if home is elsewhere. Day counts and duty days come down to proof, so documentation is the plan. Call the Wolf. Protect the Pack. www.whitewolfcpa.com

The grind on the field builds the athlete. The strategy off it builds the empire.

The pain you push through today — the early mornings, the reps, the discipline — that’s the same energy your money needs. Most athletes earn hard and keep soft. They win the game and lose the paycheck to taxes they never saw coming.

We flip that. Proactive, year-round tax strategy built for the way athletes actually earn: NIL deals, signing bonuses, multi-state income, endorsements. We don’t file and forget — we build a game plan that turns today’s income into tomorrow’s generational wealth.

Do it right. Take your game plan to the next level. 🐺

If you’re using the mileage method for your business vehicle, you may be losing thousands every year. The actual method lets you deduct gas, insurance, repairs, maintenance, loan interest, and parking — plus depreciation on top — and with 100% bonus depreciation permanently back under the One Big Beautiful Bill, a qualifying vehicle can be largely written off in year one. The catch most people miss: the full write-off applies to vehicles over 6,000 lbs GVWR used more than 50% for business, passenger cars stay capped under the luxury-auto rules, and some states like Indiana decouple from federal bonus. This is exactly the kind of thing that should be modeled before you buy or switch. Call the Wolf. Protect the Pack. www.whitewolfcpa.com

Vehicle deductions depend on business use, weight, purchase date, and state rules.

The NIL families who win don’t wait for the season to start — they prepare all summer.

Here’s the offseason checklist most miss:
→ Get discoverable — bio, grad year, position, stats, highlights, contact
→ Build a content library — training, skill work, personality
→ Make a recruiting + NIL plan — target schools, camps, coaches, brands
→ Invest in relationships — most deals start there

But here’s the one nobody plans for: the money side. NIL income is taxable — often self-employment income — and the IRS doesn’t care that your athlete is still in high school. Set up recordkeeping, estimated taxes, and the right structure before the first deal, not at tax time.

That’s the part we handle, so your family can focus on the game.

Congress is about to rewrite the NIL rulebook — and most athletes have no idea what’s in it.

Two bills matter most:
→ The Protect College Sports Act just cleared the Senate Commerce Committee 19–9 and is heading for a full Senate vote. It gives athletes a federal right to earn NIL, caps agent fees at 5%, and writes scholarship + healthcare protections into law — in exchange for antitrust protection for the NCAA.
→ The HUSTLE Act is the one that hits your bank account. It would create tax-advantaged NIL accounts: contribute up to the annual gift-tax limit tax-free, withdraw after graduation at capital gains rates, and roll up to $35K into an IRA. Retirement savings at 22 — if it’s structured right.

Here’s the catch: none of this is law yet. And these accounts don’t run themselves — withdraw at the wrong time and you hand back the tax break.

The athletes who win under these rules will have a strategist positioning them before it passes. Not after. 🐺
