After many calls to the office today, we thought it would be good to share that the ICMESA has begun billing their Emergency Service Fee. Berkheimer, ICMESA’s third-party billing agent, mailed bills to residents and businesses in participating municipalities starting on July 27, 2026.

This is not a tax notice and is unrelated to your local income tax filings.

The announced Monday, January 26, 2026, as the opening of the nation’s 2026 filing season. You will have until Wednesday, April 15, 2026, to file your 2025 tax returns and pay any tax due.
