Thanks to an appropriation of $35 million from the State Legislature, the OWRB Financial Assistance Division is rolling out two new funding programs for water and wastewater infrastructure!
🏗️ Our Water and Wastewater Microloan Program (WWMLP) offers loans for up to $500,000 at a 1% interest rate, with terms of up to 15 years. Fast, flexible and free of any federal requirements, the WWMLP is an accessible funding option for any stage of a new or ongoing infrastructure project.
🚰 The Septic and Well Remediation Program (SWRP) offers up to $20,000 in loan forgiveness for homeowners with failing septic or well water systems. Residents who qualify can use these funds to remediate or replace their failing system and prevent groundwater pollution in their community without breaking the bank.
