From there:

3️⃣ We print and issue YOU a check from their system

Your tax preparer cannot stop, change, reroute, or update bank info after your return is filed.
It is a process but your money is safe, we’ll notify you as soon as your check is ready.

This year, the IRS has been automatically using refunds to clear old debts, (unemployment, child support etc…) and we know that can feel frustrating or even discouraging especially not knowing beforehand. Please understand that your tax preparer won’t know why it was reduced or taken. Your transcript will tell you if it was an irs obligation or if it was transferred to another agency; which means that agency intercepted it before it could even get to our banking partner Refund Advantage.

🚨 VERIFY LETTERS ARE GOING OUT 🚨

Some of you may be required to verify your identity this happens sometimes nothing to stress about.

The IRS will mail you a letter asking you to call in or verify online. You should always contact your tax preparer first so you dont fail it. Here’s what to do when your letter arrives:

1️⃣ Open your 2025 tax return

You’ll need the details exactly as they appear on your file.

2️⃣ Begin the verification process

Follow the instructions on the letter (online is the easiest )

3️⃣ Enter your AGI & refund amount

Type them in exactly as shown on your return.

4️⃣ Enter the last four digits of the account number

Use the third-party bank account your refund routes through before reaching your personal account.

5️⃣ Contact your Tax Preparer if you need help

We can guide you through the steps and make sure everything matches.

6️⃣ After verification, refunds usually release within 7–14 days 🔥🔥

Once verified, you go right back into the refund cycle.
