Let’s clear up the confusion.
A Service Bureau (SB) is not responsible for paying tax preparers.
The ERO (Electronic Return Originator) owns or operates the tax firm, controls the EFIN, and is responsible for paying the tax preparers working under their office according to their agreement.
Too many people are blaming the wrong party when they don’t get paid.
EROs, please stop playing with people’s money. Pay your preparers what they’ve earned. Delayed or unpaid compensation this is really killing the industry
