DP Faves & Faces: Meet Kaitlin! 🌿

Beach or mountains? Kaitlin says both—and we support that decision. Add in a plate of fajitas, a Saints game, and a little time spent gardening or cooking, and you’ve got a pretty solid day in her book.

Kaitlin is a Tax Supervisor here at DP and a Ragin’ Cajun through and through, graduating from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. We’re excited to give you a little peek at the person behind the tax returns!

DP Faves & Faces: Meet Octavia! ✨

With more than 20 years of experience in accounting, Octavia still believes there’s always something new to learn. She recently graduated from Jackson State University and isn’t stopping there—she’s currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Accounting! 🎓

Originally from Mississippi, Octavia has called the Dallas area home for the past three years and has spent those years as part of Team DP. When she’s away from the office (and the books!), she loves traveling, spending time with family, and settling in with a good read or some music.

We love Octavia’s commitment to continuing to grow and take on new challenges, and we’re so glad to have her as part of DP! ❤️

Jake Gallant recently joined DP as a Tax Staff after graduating from Texas A&M University. We’re excited to have him as part of our growing Tax team and look forward to all he’ll accomplish at DP!

When Preston isn’t busy with tax returns, there’s a good chance he’s finding a way to make things a little more exciting—his hobby is literally shooting off fireworks! 🎇 And when it’s time for a getaway, he keeps things close to home with trips to Glen Rose and Dinosaur Valley.

A proud Texas Tech graduate and Dallas Mavericks fan, Preston brings plenty of personality along with his tax knowledge to Team DP. And after a long day? You really can’t go wrong with pizza. 🍕

We’re glad to have Preston as part of our tax team!

Congratulations to David G., our latest Encore Award winner for We Act With Integrity!

David is someone you can count on to tell it like it is, stand by his word, and take ownership of his work. He is accountable, consistent, and always willing to provide guidance, constructive feedback, or a helping hand.

His loyalty and commitment have helped build the foundation of our firm, while his leadership has helped train and develop those around him. David is also a great example of staying committed to your goals—no matter how long they may take.

And while his honesty may come with a healthy dose of sarcasm and jokes, you can always count on David to do the right thing, make a positive impact, and apparently… sing Happy Birthday whenever needed. 🎶😂

DP Faves & Faces: Meet Carol!

For Carol, some of the best memories are made away from the everyday routine—especially when they involve traveling with her kids. Colorado is a favorite destination, but wherever the trip takes her, good food and quality time with family are always part of the plan.

Back home, Carol is a loyal Astros fan, dog mom to her German Shepherd, Maverick, and an important part of the DP team. As our Client Relations Manager, she’s one of the friendly faces who helps keep our clients connected and taken care of.
