I wanted to share this because the deadline is coming up quickly.

If you paid certain IRS penalties or interest during the COVID years, you may be eligible to claim some of that money back. This could apply to both individuals and business owners.

The deadline may be July 10, 2026, and from what I understand, this is not automatic. You may need to take action to protect your claim.

Not everyone will qualify, but I definitely think this is worth looking into if you paid IRS penalties during that time.
