M. BERGERON + CO. Tax, Accounting, Financial Reporting and Business Valuation for Small Businesses

Our practice is concentrated on providing pro-active accounting and tax solutions centered on small to medium sized businesses who are QuickBooks users. We developed our own cloud-based accounting system back in 2005 before there was a "cloud!"

We also provide professional business valuation services for various purposes including estate and gift tax, business successions and terminations and community property disputes. Expert witness testimony is also available from Michael Bergeron, who has qualified as an expert in business valuation and accounting in several State and Federal Districts.

Last week, our office emailed all clients to remind of the Beneficial Ownership Interest (BOI) filing due January 1. There are a lot of rules and exceptions and exemptions, but most small businesses that sent or received $1000 or more in the last 12 months are required to file. The penalties for failure to file are potentially very severe. Filing is quick and easy. If you own a business and have not done so already - get out your drivers license and get it done.
