Meet Our Chair: Todd Stephens

Leadership can create lasting change. As a driving force behind MIRIA, Chair Todd Stephens established the authority to help municipal water providers address PFAS contamination while creating a sustainable funding model for future community investment.

Alongside supporting regional cleanup efforts, MIRIA invests in infrastructure improvements and economic development projects throughout Horsham Township. These initiatives help prepare the former NAS-JRB Willow Grove property for future redevelopment while creating long-term value for surrounding communities.

Did you know the MIRIA Zone spans more than **1,800 acres** dedicated to future growth and community improvement?

The zone includes:
✔️ 13 parcels comprising the former NAS-JRB Willow Grove property
✔️ 31 nearby parcels with development restrictions related to the former base
✔️ 21 additional properties identified by MIRIA to encourage revitalization and investment throughout Horsham Township

Together, these designated areas support redevelopment, infrastructure improvements, and long-term opportunities that help strengthen the region for years to come.

Progress is taking shape in Horsham Township. 🚧

During the week of July 13, the former Shelby Apartments building at 112 Easton Road was demolished as part of MIRIA's ongoing redevelopment efforts. This milestone moves the community one step closer to the Blair Mill Road Widening Project, Phase 3, where the property, together with the former Adam's Pit Stop site, will help support future transportation improvements.

Each completed phase helps lay the groundwork for safer travel, stronger infrastructure, and continued community growth
