For most individual taxpayers who requested a federal extension, October 15 is the filing deadline. The extension gave extra time to file - not extra time to pay. If your return is still unfinished, gather the missing tax forms, business records, estimated-payment details, and any notices now. Nine days is enough time to act. It is not enough time to keep avoiding the file.

Straight talk: your books cannot tell whether a transfer was a contribution, distribution, reimbursement, loan, or personal spending. If you leave owner transactions unexplained, someone has to guess later - and guesses can create messy equity accounts, payroll questions, and avoidable tax work. Label the transfer, keep the support, and make the business purpose clear while you still remember it.
