It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Jason Perry, owner of A1 Tax Service.
Jason dedicated his life to serving our community with honesty, integrity, and genuine care for every client who walked through the door. Our family is heartbroken by this loss, and we sincerely appreciate the love, prayers, and support we have already received.
At this time, we kindly ask that you do not contact April Perry directly with tax-related questions or business matters. Instead, please direct all inquiries to A1 Tax Service’s office phone number.
Before his passing, Jason had already made the decision to sell A1 Tax Service. We are grateful to share that Abby Nelson will be continuing his legacy as the new owner.
Abby began working for Jason during her junior year of high school. She later earned a bachelor’s in Accounting from USI and went on to complete her Master’s in Accountancy from NKU. After graduation, she built a career in tax preparation and bookkeeping services with a specialty in church and non-Profit Accounting.
After gaining experience at larger tax firms, Abby returned to work alongside Jason because she shared his belief that clients deserve knowledgeable, honest, and affordable tax preparation. Jason had great confidence in Abby, and we know she will continue the values that made A1 Tax Service what it is today.
During this transition, April, Jake, and Abbie Perry will be assisting Abby, including throughout the 2026 tax season (January–April 2027), to help ensure a smooth continuation of the service our clients have come to expect.
Information regarding Jason’s visitation and funeral service will be shared tomorrow.
As we grieve the loss of our husband, father, and friend, we respectfully ask for privacy and patience during this difficult time. Thank you for your continued prayers, kindness, and support.
