During Covid our birthday party options were severely limited, for our youngest son, Zander. Having moved back to the area, from Buck’s County, we thought a gaming truck party would be perfect. We called around but the Philly area trucks were wayyy too expensive. We found Allen, in Hummelstown, and made it happen👍🏽
At that same time, since I had a lot of free time, I was also taking (more) business classes, because Paul and I had been planning on starting a Food Truck business.
Some time after Zander’s party and after creating a business plan for the food truck, my family decided that we should also look into the business of gaming… The rest is history!!!

It has been an honor just being nominated for Simply The Best!
When we started ZboyZ we just wanted to create a family based business that we loved, where we could treat customers the way that we wanted to be treated. I try to be a blessing to someone everyday!!!
Giving someone a great dining experience or gaming experience or even finding them that tax deduction, that keeps them from owing money is what I do.

If you owe taxes and can't pay the balance by the deadline, make sure to file your return on time and pay as much as you can. Filing on time will help you avoid additional penalties from piling up. An reminder: An extension of time to file is not an extension of time to pay.

If you claim an or ACTC, the law requires to hold the tax refund for a period to review. Barring other issues, the first of these refunds should be available by February 27, 2024, if using direct deposit. See www.irs.gov/refundtiming

Good things come to those who wait. If you claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit, your refund can take a little longer. Use the Where's My Refund tool to get an updated status by February 17. If you filed electronically, requested direct deposit and had no issues with your return, you can get your refund as early as February 27. Some taxpayers may see their refunds earlier.

Do you ever wonder why some people get a large tax refund and you work a lot and get a smaller refund?
Well, the answer is simple... Tax Refunds Are Not Free Money From The Government!!!!
When you work, the government taxes your earnings. Your federal tax rate is based on your income. Your state rate is a flat rate (ie... PA is 3.07%) and your local taxes are based on your municipality.
When you get a refund it's usually because you have the wrong exemptions claimed on your employer W-4 Form. When you owe money, you need to update your W-4 with your employer immediately and claim the correct exemptions. I suggest 0 exemptions!!!
You can also see a refund if you own a business and have deductions to claim. There are also other tax credits, that can give you a refund like, "the child tax credit, education credit, earned income credit, retirement contributions, HSA" and more. For every credit, there are requirements that make you eligible or ineligible.
So understand that it's better to get all of your money on your paycheck, so you can put your money where you can grow interest or some sort of return on your money.
The refund money that the government gives back to you at the end of the year, is your money that they (the government) had in an interest bearing account and was actually making THEM money, not you.
