Yes, I know it’s 2026. 😉 But as we approach the final tax deadline of the 2025 tax year, and I prepare to enter my 20th year in this industry, I’ve found myself doing a lot of reflecting, and the one thing I keep coming back to is unpredictability.
Life is unpredictable. Business is unpredictable. Sometimes, no matter how carefully we plan, things happen that we never saw coming. The real question isn’t whether we will face the unexpected—it’s how we manage it when it comes.
Genesis 19:17—is a reminder to not look back, but keep moving forward. For me, that means keeping my eyes on Christ, trusting His direction, and continuing toward the future rather than dwelling on what’s behind me.
So as we enter another tax season, my encouragement is simple:
➡Learn more. Ask more questions. And be humble enough to seek wise counsel.
✨You don’t have to know everything. None of us do.
Whether it’s your taxes, your business, your finances, or life in general—sometimes the wisest thing you can do is recognize what you don’t know and find someone you trust to help you navigate it.
After nearly 20 years, I can tell you one thing with absolute certainty:
🎯The only predictable thing about this journey is that it will be unpredictable. And that's OK because we get to choose how we move forward 💗
