Our friends at FDR Farms have their pumpkin patch open, with plenty of pumpkins and gourds for carving, decorating, or just making the front porch feel a little more like fall.

While you’re there, stop by the farm stand for fresh produce, local honey, baked goods, and plenty of other good stuff.

If you’re looking for a fun, simple fall outing, this is a good one. 🍂

The IRS recently increased the standard mileage rates effective July 1, 2026. If you use your vehicle for business, medical, or moving purposes, take a moment to review the new rates and make sure you’re tracking your mileage correctly for the rest of the year. 🚗🧾

Rachel Blazek's daughter made an offer we couldn't refuse when she offered to make some art for the farm. We're so grateful she's sharing her passion with us and we can't wait to see where her talent takes her. We're going to have to find some merch to put this on. Some dads build treehouses.
Some teach us how to throw a baseball.
Some show us how to balance a checkbook, change a tire, or file taxes before April 15.

However they show up, we’re grateful for the steady hands, quiet sacrifices, and bad jokes that somehow never get old.

Meet Gerald and Rocky — two CPAGR ducks designed and painted by our own kiddos and ready for the 22nd Annual Duck Race hosted by the Milliken-Johnstown Lions Club. It’s a great event that helps support the many charitable projects the Lions Club is involved in throughout our community.

They’ve got fresh outfits, a little race-day training under their belts, and big dreams of duck glory this Saturday in Johnstown.

Make us proud, boys. 🦆
