Having a bookkeeper is not the same as having a CFO.
I say this with love because I have a bookkeeping team and I know exactly what they do and what they do not do.
Your bookkeeper records what happened. Your CFO decides what happens next.
Your bookkeeper tells you what you spent. Your CFO tells you what you can afford to spend.
Your bookkeeper closes your books. Your CFO opens your options.
If you have a bookkeeper and you are making big decisions without CFO-level insight you are missing the person who translates those numbers into your next move.
Comment CFO if you are ready for the full picture.

My top 5 horror movies as a CFO.
Every single one of these is a real conversation I have had. The scariest part is not the IRS notice or the missing payments. It is that most of these were discovered too late to fix quietly.
Which one made you uncomfortable? Drop the number below.
If any of these are your reality right now, comment CFO and let's talk.

Can we just be honest for a second?
Nobody taught you how to manage finances at 6 figures.
Not school.
Not your first accountant.
Not the business coach you hired.
You figured out how to build something incredible largely on your own.
And now you're supposed to just know how to manage cash flow, set up an S-Corp, track profit margins, and plan for taxes quarterly?
That's not a character flaw.
That's a support gap.
The women I work with aren't bad at business. They're brilliant at business.
They just never had someone in their corner whose entire job was to protect what they built.
That's what I do.
And when they finally get that support?
Everything changes.

I'm going to say what nobody else will.
You hit 6 figures and thought you made it.
But you can't tell me:
→ Your actual profit margin
→ How much cash you have on hand
→ What you'll owe in taxes this quarter
→ Whether you can afford that hire
That's not success.
That's revenue with no strategy behind it.
And I'm not saying that to be harsh.
I'm saying it because nobody else will.
Hopefully, you didn't build a 6-figure business to stay confused about your own numbers.

I spent 2 years in M&A in healthcare, evaluating single- and multi-physician practices. Here's what every business owner needs to know.
Revenue lies. Cash flow tells the truth. A practice could show $3M on paper and still not be able to make payroll on Friday.
The first thing I looked at was the books. Then I reviewed the outstanding accounts payable and unresolved refunds. If you had a large amount of either, I required you to pay them before we ever closed. Because that debt doesn't disappear — it transfers to the new owner. Most sellers had no idea that was sitting on their books until I showed them.
The owners who got the best deals had CFO-level support before they ever needed it. Someone watching their financial story long before a buyer was ever in the room.
You don't have to be selling your business to think like someone who is.
The habits that attract buyers are the same ones that build real wealth and cash flow.
Are you building them?

Every single client. Every single time. These are the first two things I look at.
Cash flow. And revenue.
Because the gap between those two numbers tells me exactly where your money is going, and why it doesn't feel like enough.
Most 6-figure women I work with are making great money on paper. But their cash flow tells a different story.
Do you know the difference between your revenue and your actual cash flow?
If the answer is no, DM me CASHFLOW.💸

It's Financial Literacy Month, and if you know me, you know this is my month. 🗓️
I'm booked for speaking, deep in client work, and I'm bringing ALL of it here for you this April.
Because most accountants, coaches, and "financial gurus" won't tell you what I'm about to tell you.
If you made 6 figures last year and it still doesn't feel like it? That's not a hustle problem. That's a strategy problem.
This April I'm breaking down:
→ How S-Corp owners legally cut their tax bill by $10K–$30K+
→ The 5 numbers every 6-figure business owner needs to know (and most don't)
→ What CFO-level thinking actually looks like at your revenue stage
→ Exactly what to do so next tax season doesn't feel like an ambush
Save this post. Follow along all month.
