Today, I was honored to share my story at Strong Women, Strong Connections. This is sponsored by the North Dakota Women’s Business Center and facilitated by Sandi Luck and her team (special shout out to Kira and Becky) from the The Board Room, Bully Brew Coffee House, & North Dakota Coffee Roastery. They allow for women to show up for an hour (11am-12pm) each Friday to be authentically themselves and connect with other women in our community. The “strong” part of the name is perfect. The women in our community are so strong individually, but even stronger together.

When I was first asked to speak, I was nervous, but then started reaching out to the women in our community that make me feel safe…and DAMN did they show up! Not only that, but the love that I have gotten from the women who couldn’t make it helped build up the today.

From my mom’s best friend, my in-law-family, clients, friends, fellow business owners, etc. Each and every one of them came with open ears and hearts. There was so much in each and every one of the hugs I got afterwards. ♥️I was able to share my story and let each and every one of them that they matter. BECAUSE THEY DO, AND YOU DO TO!

Thank you to everyone who came out and/or sent their love/support. This was so much more than I could have envisioned.

I’ll be out of the office until the 21st. I’ll still be working a bit while away, but with intention; making space to slow down, look around, and truly take it all in. This journey marks an early celebration of ten years of marriage, and a gentle reminder that not all who wander are lost.
