Picture this. A big customer pays you 30 days late. Then winter hits and the jobs thin out. Your overhead, your insurance and your office staff all still need to be paid, whether money is coming in or not.

That's what a cash reserve is for. Titus shares the amount we recommend to our clients in his next reel, so keep an eye out for it.

In a lot of Indian workplaces, staying quiet about bad news is a way of showing respect. An American manager usually hears that silence as "everything's fine." Then the problem grows, and the question becomes "why didn't you tell me sooner?"

The same thing happens with yes. Saying yes to a client to avoid saying no feels polite. The manager hears "I can do it" and stops checking.
