WHAT WOULD I DO IF THIS WERE MY BUSINESS? / DAY 06
MOBILE DETAILER

Spa Day for the Car

The customer can value care, convenience and a clear finish standard as well as a clean vehicle.

The story is only the first part. In this episode I show what I would actually put behind it:
1. Turn the joke into scope.
2. Make the demonstration fair.
3. Qualify before confirming.

These are proposed business decisions, not a claim that a video automatically produces sales.

This is the prompt I would run if I were you tonight.

It turns everything you have been carrying into one printable page: your working title, who it is for, what it promises, your chapters, and your first sentence. Sign the bottom. Start in October.

Follow along. I'm putting a real book in front of you every day through the end of the month.

This month I put a real book in front of you almost every day.

A napkin that became an eight year plan. A woman meeting who she never had peace to become. A family healing on the porch. A fumble that turned into wisdom. A side eye with a whole cover behind it. A woman who survived behind a smile. A husband who lost his world and kept living.

Not one of them thought of themselves as a writer when they started.

That is the whole point. You do not have to be a writer. You have to have lived something and be willing to put it down.

October is coming. If this is the month you finally start, I will be right here.

I Lost My Wife and Lost My World. Kelton Graham.

Overcoming depression after losing his best friend of 39 years.

The line on the cover says it all. She fought to the end. I am fighting to keep living.

Kelton wrote what so many men never say out loud. What it is like to come home to a quiet house after almost four decades. How grief and depression sit in a man's chest. And how he kept going.

If you are grieving right now and it feels like too much, you can call or text 988 any time, day or night.

Follow along. I'm putting a real book in front of you every day through the end of the month.

When we lose someone, the small memories are the first to fade. The way they laughed. What they ordered every time. The thing they said every morning.

This prompt builds a memory inventory, a simple table of memories by year, so you never lose them. For some people it becomes a book. For others it stays a private treasure. Both are enough.

Follow along. I'm putting a real book in front of you every day through the end of the month.

We do not talk enough about men who lose their wives.

He goes back to work. He mows the lawn. Everybody says he is doing so well.

And then he comes home to a quiet house, after thirty or forty years of her voice in it.

Men grieve too. A lot of them just do it where nobody can see.

If that is you, you are allowed to not be okay. And if you need to talk to somebody tonight, you can call or text 988, the Su***de and Crisis Lifeline, any time.

If you know a man who lost his wife this year, call him today. Not text. Call.

Behind the Scenes of a Smile. Lia Morgan.

Surviving domestic violence while married to a pastor.

I want to hold this one carefully.

Look at the cover. A woman walking alone down a church aisle toward the light. A mask smiling beside her that is starting to crack.

Lia wrote the story that so many women are still living quietly. She put it on paper so the next woman would know she is not the only one, and that there is a way out.

If this is your story right now, you do not have to write anything. You just have to be safe. The National Domestic Violence Hotline is 1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788. It is free and confidential, 24 hours a day.

Follow along. I'm putting a real book in front of you every day through the end of the month.
