Due to Government cutbacks, IRS expects MOST REFUNDS for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) refunds will be available in bank accounts or by debit cards by March 2, 2026.
SOME taxpayers may receive their REFUNDS earlier, depending on their financial institution.
Where's My Refund? will provide projected deposit dates for most early EITC / ACTC refund filers by February 21, 2026.
