We get this question a lot!

Not retiring yet? If you plan to work past 65, you might not need to sign up for Medicare Part B (medical insurance) until you retire or lose your employer coverage. Find out when you can sign up for Medicare by answering a few questions at https://go.medicare.gov/4fywr6h.

We’ve taken a major step forward!

The Family YMCA of Northwest Illinois has officially closed on our future home at 2900 W. Pearl City Road, bringing Vision 2030 to life.

This is more than a move – it’s a commitment to our community.

Our new Healthy Living Campus will unite the expanded Children’s Center, fitness and aquatics facilities, and community services together under one roof—creating a place where people of all ages can learn, grow, and thrive.

Together, we’re building something that will serve our community for generations.

“We could not be more pleased to see Stewart Centre West become the future home of the Family YMCA of Northwest Illinois. We look forward to watching the Healthy Living Campus flourish — and to the countless families it will strengthen across Northwest Illinois for generations to come,” said Brian Stewart, Managing Member of Stewart Centre West LLC.

Be part of what comes next. To learn more or contribute to the campaign, contact Dawn Reed, Financial Director, at 815-235-9622.
