I am in such a wonderful season in life.
I’ve been so blessed in my personal as well as business life. In the last 4 months we have gained a precious baby boy in our family and I’ve doubled my bookkeeping clients. Even with these new clients, I’ve been able to keep my toddler and newborn at home (with the help of my mom watching them part time - yet ANOTHER amazing blessing). I’ve been very fortunate in having the option to have my kids at home and still work. On this note, I am so incredibly thankful to each and every one of my clients. They’ve all been so supportive of my family focus and are allowing me to reach my longtime goal of being a successful work from home mom with a flexible schedule.
I’m not posting this to brag. I just want to give credit where credit is due. I’ve prided myself at putting God at the forefront of my business ever since beginning it last year, and this is all a testament to what He can do. Looking back it has been a tedious and sometimes difficult or even confusing road, but He has always ensured provision.
Peace is the word I’ve used to describe my life the last few months. Complete and utter peace - even with a toddler and newborn, the struggles of everyday life, and a business to run. It’s a feeling that I’m incredibly thankful for. I’ve prayed for provision, I’ve prayed for direction. God has provided both and added on the amazing gift of peace. Ephesians 3:20
He has guided me here and I could not have had the courage or know-how to do it on my own. He continues to answer prayers, present me with the right connections, and guide my business and personal decisions. He has perfectly set me up to have the avenues to share His love and blessings and that is bigger than I could have imagined and would never have guessed I would be chosen to do so. 2 Corinthians 9:8; Ephesians 2:10
“But I will keep counting my blessings,
Knowing I can't count that high.” This song began playing while thinking of writing this post and it can’t be more true. I haven’t even began to list the blessings God has given in my life. May I always be reminded of these blessings in the everyday mundane, in the difficult times, and the pain that this world brings. God does not promise an easy life, but he does promise his love to those who accept it. If you are reading this, I pray these blessings over your life as well. Know that there is a God, he loves you, and can erase any past judgment or pain. May he bring peace to you too. 💛
