H&R Block and TurboTax fascinate me. I understand if you're an employee with a simple return why this may very well be the right choice for your return, but if you're self-employed? I don't get it.

I'm consistently finding missed opportunities on returns prepared by/through each firm. If you're an employee, they provide a really great, inexpensive service. if you're self-employed, though, their guarantees mean virtually nothing.
