Before an idea becomes a business that can operate and grow, consider:

1. How much will the business cost to start?
2. How will the business make money?
3. What will it cost to operate the business?
4. How will the work get done consistently?
5. How will customers move from interested to served?
6. What financial and business information needs to be tracked and maintained?
7. What will need to change as the business grows?

You don't need every answer on Day One.

But asking these questions early can help shape the structure, processes and systems your business will need later.

Starting gives your idea a beginning.
Building gives that idea something strong enough to stand on.
