🚨 Important Update on Health Insurance Changes 🚨

A recent report highlights how upcoming changes in Minnesota’s health insurance policies may leave many people—especially seniors on Medicare—without access to their trusted insurance agents.

Staying informed about these shifts is more important than ever as Open Enrollment approaches.

This year has seen changes to Minnesota's health insurance ecosystem, and with Open Enrollment approaching, those changes will soon hit the public, particularly senior citizens with Medicare who use insurance agents.

💡 Tax Tip Alert!

Starting in 2026, a new rule will impact charitable deductions. Individuals will face a “floor” of ½ of 1% (0.005) of AGI before deductions count.

👉 Example: A family with $200,000 AGI who donates $2,500 will lose the first $1,000 (200,000 × 0.005) of that deduction. That means they can only claim $1,500 instead of the full $2,500.

✅ The good news: This does not apply in 2025! If you’re planning donations, consider making your 2026 contributions in 2025 to maximize your tax benefit.
