This holiday season, CM Accounts Ltd. would like to sponsor one local elder in the Evergreen, Conifer, or Bailey area who could use a little extra support, kindness, and holiday cheer.

I’m looking for someone who may be living alone, going through a difficult season, struggling financially, or simply doesn’t have much support around them during the holidays.

💡 Tax Tip Tuesday: S-Corp Owners—Stop Donating Expenses to Your Business

Did you pay for business mileage, your cell phone, supplies, or other company expenses from your personal account?

Your S-Corporation may be able to reimburse you through an accountable plan. When handled correctly, the reimbursement generally isn’t taxable income to you—and the business can properly record the expense.

The key is documentation:

✅ The expense must have a business purpose
✅ You must provide receipts or mileage records
✅ Any excess reimbursement must be returned

Don’t let legitimate business expenses disappear simply because you paid for them personally.
