Bad bookkeepers don't want you to know this one trick! 🤫

You can click a little button in your bookkeeping software and do your own independent verification of whether your bookkeeper is ~actually~ doing what you hired them to do.

It's called a reconciliation report!

Running this for each bank account + credit card statement shows the last date that account was reconciled.

If it's been more than a few months and your bookkeeper was supposedddd to be handling those... not good. 😬

The last thing you want is for unexpected expenses, like [an unexpected niche-specific expense], to derail everything you've worked so hard for!

When you model these scenarios, you can be prepared justttt in case the worst (or best!!!) things happen.

This post is NOT an attack on business coaches, but asking this question beforeee you hire one might make both your lives easier:

Do I have clean numbers from my business to show my coach?

If your answer is no...

You're just making your coach's job harder!

When they can see exactly how much you're currently making + how you're spending your money, they have the information they need to help you grow.
