If you requested an extension, make sure your return is filed by the deadline to avoid potential penalties and fines. An extension to file does not extend the time to pay any taxes owed. Your fines are dependent on how much you owe.

Our windows are decorated this month in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a cause that holds a deeply personal place in the hearts of the Motl family.

We remember Darlene Motl not only for her strength throughout her 30-year battle with breast cancer, but for the incredible impact she made on the lives around her. As a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and elementary school teacher, Darlene dedicated her life to caring for others, nurturing young minds, and making her community a better place.

Her influence reached far beyond the classroom, and her legacy continues to live on through the countless lives she touched, the memories cherished by her family, and the lasting difference she made in her community.

This month, and every month, we honor Darlene's memory and stand alongside breast cancer survivors, those currently battling the disease, and the families who walk this journey with them. May her story serve as a reminder of the strength of the human spirit, the power of community, and the importance of continuing to care for one another.
