A friendly reminder that annual Delaware LLC payments to the Delaware Division of Corporations are due by June 1st.

To avoid penalties and interest, be sure your payment is submitted on time.

If you have questions about your LLC status, need help confirming your entity information, or would like assistance with the filing process, our office is happy to help!

PAYROLL CLIENTS - The Delaware Division of Unemployment is just now sending out rate letters. They have extended the filing due date of Form UC8 to May 29th because of their delay, which means the forms won't be here anytime soon. As soon as you receive your rate letter PLEASE bring in your payroll for filing. The Federal forms are still due April 30th.

The first quarterly estimated payment to the IRS is due April 15th. If you received a yellow instruction sheet from my office, please be aware that the IRS has updated their website and there is a slight change. Please feel free to send a facebook message and I will give you the new instruction sheet.

After careful review of new tax regulations, we regret to inform you that beginning today:

• All receipts must now be submitted in alphabetical order… by store name 😳
• The IRS will begin accepting payments in coffee ☕
• And yes… calculators are officially being replaced with abacuses for “accuracy”

⚠️ IRS LETTER ALERT – CP53A ⚠️

We are seeing an increase in IRS Letter CP53A being mailed to taxpayers.

This letter means you did not provide a bank account for direct deposit or the IRS was unable to deposit your refund into the bank account listed on your tax return. As a result, your refund may be issued as a paper check and mailed to the address on file.

Some clients are receiving this letter even if they owed money or had their refund applied to 2026.

👉 What you should do:
• Don’t panic — this does NOT mean your return was incorrect
• Read the letter carefully and call the number on the notice
• Watch your mail carefully for your refund check if applicable
• Make sure your mailing address is current with the IRS
• Allow additional time for delivery

The IRS will NOT call, text, or email you about this issue. If you receive any suspicious messages, do not respond.
