Our little county has a LOT to celebrate right now!!

Last night, Kiran Reddy walked the stage as the first Indian American to EVER represent Georgia in the Miss Teen USA, as well as being the first Georgia contestant to ever WIN MISS TEEN USA!! She will also be the first teen contestant to EVER get to compete in the Miss Teen Universe which will be held in October in Cambodia.. That means WHEN she wins, she will go down in history as the girl who conquered a lot of firsts!! What an accomplishment she has already!!
A couple of months back, Blake Bryant was drafted as the 31st pick in the FIRST round of the MLB draft!! He’s the first kid from Coffee County to ever be drafted straight out of highschool..
Two completely different paths..
Two incredible accomplishments!!
Do you know what they have in common?!
They both were raised right here in Douglas, Georgia!!

I pray that every young person in our community stops for just a minute and lets that sink in!

You do not have to grow up in a big city to do big things!! You can come from a small town in South Georgia and have dreams that take you all over this world!

To the kids growing up in this town…DREAM BIGGER THAN YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES. Put in the work even when people can’t see you doing it. Let everyone underestimate you if they want to, then let your work speak for itself all while staying humble and true to yourself and God.
Your hometown does not limit your story—it’s just where your story begins!

I’m so proud of these 2 young people for showing our kids what is possible. I’m proud that I got to watch them grow up.. And I’m proud to call this little town home! ❤️👑⚾️🎉

We wanted to take a minute and wish the Seniors who are starting the next phase of their journey all of the success and good days ahead!!

Say yes!! But also know when and how to say no!! Figure out what interests you and where you excel.. pursue that! Join the club. Put yourself out there. Make new friends. Don’t forget the old ones. Study hard. Talk to Jesus everyday! Mind your business. And enjoy these days. Because just like your highschool days, these next few years will fly by too! Congratulations class of 2026!! Go be the change that the world is longing for! ❤️

You guys may want to pay attention to our current President’s tax proposal for 2025.. specifically, page 211.

He is proposing a “not filing” felony. If charged, you could face up to 5 years in prison with a $500,000 fine. Aggravated failure to file would be the legal term of the charge.

He is also proposing to raise long term capital gains and qualified dividends to 44.6%.

Just sharing a few things I’ve read today, along with this..

EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE ANYTIME YOU HAVE THAT RIGHT.

For those of you local, it’s the old DAC building across the road from The Court House and Bobby’s, connected to Blue Sage! We don’t have our sign up yet but we are on the corner of Ashley and Peterson! (Picture is of our office)

⭐️The IRS will start accepting returns on Jan 29! From now until then, they’ll be making changes that hopefully will reflect on the refund for the better!

⭐️I’m seeing new clients this year and I’m ready when you are! We can get everything input and be sitting on go for when the IRS is ready for us!

⭐️We will be offering advances which means you could get up to $6000 of your refund within 24 hours of filing, upon approval! (This is good for now, you don’t have to wait until Jan 29th).
