IRS. Beginning to accept efile returns 1/26/2026

Please have a check stub from the last check you actually received in December 2025, especially if you received any overtime pay. There is a reduction to your actual taxable income for 33% of OT, which will increase the amount of your Refund.

Another big change IRS has made the statement, if you do not do a Direct Deposit and choose to have a check mailed it will delay your refund by approximately 6 weeks.
