Most companies you work with in the tax prep industry are not your partners.

They're vendors.

Sometimes a vendor relationship is fine, but picking partners where it matters can make the difference between failure and success for your business.

Here's a quick test: A vendor just tries to sell you more or renew you every year. A partner tells you when things aren't working and bring ideas to help you grow - even if it doesn't mean more money for them.

Think about where vendor is ok and where you need partners.

You: "I know what I pay annually for tax prep software."
