What is Rebalancing? Rebalancing is the process of adjusting your investment portfolio back to its target mix of stocks, bonds, and other assets after market movements cause it to drift.

Meet Chelsea Noble, our Insurance Operations Manager.

Chelsea is dedicated to ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and support throughout their insurance journey. She takes pride in helping things run smoothly behind the scenes while always keeping our clients' best interests at the forefront.

1. Coffee, tea, or energy drinks? Energy Drinks.

2. What's your favorite hobby outside of work? Quilting! It's a hobby I picked up from a family friend when I was 11 years old, and I've loved it ever since. There's something special about creating something by hand that can be cherished for years.

3. What's your favorite way to spend a weekend? My favorite way to spend a weekend is watching my boys play, whether it's running around the yard being kids or giving it their all on a ball field. From the porch to the stands, I'm soaking up every moment and proudly being their biggest fan.

4. What makes you proud to be part of this organization? I'm proud to be part of an organization that always chooses to do the right thing, not the easy thing. That commitment allows us to build trust with our clients and make a meaningful difference in their lives.

5. What's your go-to productivity tip? My go-to productivity tip is using a good old-fashioned to-do list. There's something satisfying about checking off tasks and knowing you're making progress throughout the day.

1. What inspired you to join Platt Allen? I knew that joining a team and being a part of something bigger was what I wanted. When the opportunity came to join the team, there was no question what my answer was going to be. Having the resources and the support from all members of the team allows each of us to have a much bigger impact in the lives of our clients and community.

2. What do you enjoy most about your job? I believe the biggest satisfaction from this job is being about to tell a client that all the hard work they did to achieve their goals paid off, and the goal has been achieved. Whether that is saving for a house, vacation home, telling their employer they will be retiring, or any other goal they are working toward.

3. What motivates you every day at work? There is always something new I can learn or someone I can help feel more empowered about their financial journey.

4. What is one thing people often misunderstand about your role? Many people think financial planning is only about investments, but it really involves helping clients make decisions across all areas of their financial lives.

5. How do you enjoy spending time outside work? I enjoy watching my boys compete in sports, hanging out with neighborhood friends, and a bit of golf when I can.

We would like to introduce you to Eric Anderson Partner & Private Wealth Advisor. For 30 years, Eric has been dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals through trusted guidance, integrity, and long-term relationships. 1. What motivates you every day? – Building long-term relationships built on trust and integrity. Clients put an enormous level of trust in us to see their goals through. It is comforting knowing we are always doing what’s best in our clients' lives.

2. What’s your favorite part of our company culture? – It starts with the company mission statement, “The ambition of Northwestern has been less to be large than safe”. This is the foundation of what makes this company so strong. Northwestern has never sacrificed its culture of doing what is best of our clients, and doing so in true mutuality.

3. What’s one thing on my bucket list? – To tour Scotland, home of my ancestors. Our family has a rich history of Scottish descent, originating from the McMillian Clan. I’d love to try to trace our roots and see parts of this beautiful country – and get a few rounds of golf in since this is where it started!

4. What’s my favorite way to spend a weekend – With my family at Norris Lake. This gives an opportunity to spend quality time together. We tend to spend much of our time on our boat where we don’t have our phones on and no TV to distract us. We talk, laugh, and make great memories on the water.

5. What inspired you to join Platt Allen? I joined Platt Allen in 2024 after running a solo practice, and one of the things that immediately stood out to me was how well the team worked together. It was exciting to see the level of service, expertise, and resources I could bring to my existing clients by becoming part of such a collaborative group. The synergy within the team is remarkable, with each person contributing their unique strengths and finding their niche within our structure. What inspires me most is the genuine care and support we have for one another, which naturally extends to the way we serve our clients every day.
