Got an IRS notice? Don't panic. πΌ
Most IRS letters are about a balance due, a changed refund, or a question on your return β and responding the right way matters. Read the whole letter, compare it to your return, respond by the date printed on it, and remember: real IRS contact starts by mail, not by phone call, email, or text.
Responding on time is also how you protect your appeal rights. If you owe and can't pay in full, pay what you can by the due date and ask about a payment plan.
