Knowing how much you can contribute to your retirement accounts each year is key to building a solid financial future. Contribution limits are generally higher for employer-sponsored plans like 401(k)s or Simple IRAs, making them an excellent option — especially if your employer offers a matching contribution.

While many people I work with focus solely on their employer-sponsored plan, it’s worth considering additional options. You can also open an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) outside of work and contribute up to a certain limit each year, giving your retirement savings an extra boost.

Reach out so we can explore the best strategy for your retirement contributions!
