Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Ashley Bloom Helping individuals and families simplify complexity and create lasting peace of mind through personalized financial strategies.

Proud to serve LGBTQ+ families with thoughtful, inclusive planning. I help individuals and families bring clarity, confidence and peace of mind to their financial lives. Through a personalized and thoughtful planning process, I partner with clients to create strategies that support what matters most—today and for generations to come. My role is to simplify complexity, coordinate the moving parts of a financial life and help ensure nothing important is overlooked. I work with many high-net-worth individuals and families who value a more coordinated, relationship-driven approach. When appropriate, I collaborate with tax professionals and estate attorneys to help ensure each piece of the financial picture works together seamlessly. I am proud to serve clients from all backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ individuals and families. I understand that estate, retirement and legacy strategies often involve unique considerations, and I am committed to creating an environment where every client feels respected, understood and supported. At the core of my practice is a simple goal: helping clients feel confident that everything important is aligned and cared for. Outside the office, my wife Emily and I enjoy life in Bedford, Texas, with our four children.

Rising rates have grabbed headlines, but they're only one inning in a much longer game. Easing inflation, healthy consumer spending and growing corporate profits point to an economy that remains on solid footing.

When the Real Financial Question Isn’t About Money

Sometimes the financial question someone asks isn’t the question they’re really worried about.

Recently, I was talking with someone about her financial plan when we got down to the real concern:

“I don’t want to be a burden to my family.”

That was what was keeping her up at night.

So we started there.

The plan we ultimately discussed had a lot of moving pieces. On paper, it could probably look complicated.

But when we sat down with a family member and walked through what would happen, why we were doing it, and how the pieces worked together, something changed.

You could physically see the relief.

The fear had a name.

There was a plan designed to address it.

And both of them understood what was supposed to happen next.

Those are the moments I love most about what I do.

Financial planning isn’t always about making something simple.

Sometimes it’s about taking something complex and making it understandable enough that you can stop being afraid of it.

Bond yields recently climbed to their highest levels in decades as investors weighed sticky inflation, booming AI investment and robust economic growth. In this evolving environment, higher interest rates are creating new opportunities in fixed income while shifting market leadership across equities.

The Fed raised interest rates for the first time in three years, as widely expected. While the announcement prompted an initial market reaction, resilient economic growth, strong corporate earnings and continued consumer spending could help support equities, even if interest rates move somewhat higher. Meanwhile, higher short-term bond yields may create new opportunities for investors seeking income.

Many people assume financial confidence comes with age. In my experience, it's not quite that simple.

New research from Edward Jones and Gallup shows that people across generations share concerns about their financial future. Younger adults are often working to build wealth, while older adults are focused on making their savings last. But both are looking for greater peace of mind about what's ahead.

That's one reason I enjoy helping clients create personalized strategies that align with their goals and priorities, both today and as their needs evolve over time.

Older adults are much more confident than younger adults in managing their current finances. Confidence in managing future finances, however, differs less by age.
