TAMU Financial Planning Program We are dedicated to preparing students to join the next generation of financial planners. Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc.

Financial planning and services is one of the fastest growing sectors of our economy. The Texas A&M Financial Planning Program is designed to prepare you for this exciting profession while fulfilling the core educational curriculum necessary to sit for the CFP® Certification Examination. We pride ourselves in providing knowledge that goes beyond the exam and incorporate real world materials essential to developing skilled, comprehensive financial planners. The curriculum is available to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at Texas A&M University, as well as to off-campus students through our Extended Learning certificate program. The off-campus program is designed for individuals desiring to change or advance their careers in personal financial planning or related financial services. The Texas A&M Financial Planning Program is a flexible program that provides a comprehensive curriculum serving current undergraduate and graduate students, former students and working professionals. Our program is registered with the CFP Board of Standards and students who complete a CFP Board-Registered Program are eligible to sit for the CFP® Certification Examination.

-Academic Credit track is available to undergraduate and graduate students.
-Extended Learning track is available to adult learners, former students, and professionals interested in changing or advancing their careers.
-Certificate program consists of six courses with a total of 18 credit hours of coursework.
-All courses are available online.
-Some courses are also available through traditional classroom delivery.
-Applications are being accepted now.
